One of the great things about a forthcoming budget, is the motivation it generates. Buy or sell, that’s the question on the lips of many when second guessing the market, pre budget. Here, we do not profess to know the budgets content or outcome, but the implication for us in being between the buyer and the seller, is that we are as busy as ever. Bringing some great AM’s to market, finding new homes for current stock and increasingly in 'off market' sales, all whilst awaiting the budgets outcome.
Our latest stock of new additions highlights one of AM’s finest drivers’ cars, the 2017 Vantage GT8. Not to be confused with a V8 Vantage, the GT8 is, in the opinion of those who have driven one, a highlight of the 1st generation of Gaydon built cars. Lighter, more powerful, with improved grip and handling charactersistics, than the Vantage. The limited production GT8 (68 UK RHD with manual transmission) is a type of car unlikely to ever be built again and has all the hallmarks needed of classic status.
Another established classic, with 007 credentials, is the DBS of 2007-12. A naturally aspirated 6.0 litre 500+ bhp V12 engine and available with a manual 6-speed gearbox, the headline grabbing DBS is sensational to drive and being from a peak era of performance cars, without turbos, hybrids or overly complicated electronics, is destined for collectors’ garages. This one more than most, with a mere 10,000 miles covered from new. Serviced annually and in fabulous condition all round, DBS fanciers need look no further, than this almost unrepeatable example.
Another headline grabber and bona fide classic newly arrived, is this superb 1985 V8 Vantage. Hailed as Britain’s first super car, when launched, the V8 Vantage needs no introduction in classic circles and this one is undoubtedly worthy of inclusion in any collector’s garage. Beautifully presented, expertly maintained and lovingly cared for. The history file and cars condition make a compelling case and a viewing, I suggest would be a motivating moment.
Do take a moment to check out our exciting stock and if you would like to have further information or discuss any of our curated, fully prepared and guaranteed cars, our sales team would be delighted to assist, on receipt of a call or e-mail.
Best wishes
Nick
