Due to the continued success of our Service & Aftercare department, we now have an exciting opportunity to join the team in the role of Workshop Supervisor, to lead our team of Technicians and act as the important conduit between our Service & Aftercare team and workshop operations.
Located at our award winning Essendonbury Farm premises, on the historic Hatfield Park Estate in Hertfordshire, our fully resourced Service & Aftercare department undertakes all aspects of servicing, maintenance, upgrades, refurbishment and restoration of all post war Aston Martin models, from iconic ‘DB’ models of the 1950’s and 1960’s, the V8 range of the 1970’s and 1980’s, right through to the Gaydon built models such as the DB9, Vantage and DB11.
This role should appeal to an individual that has previously enjoyed a successful career in the classic / performance car industry and is now looking for an exciting, as well as rewarding, challenge to further our position and reputation as one of the world’s leading Aston Martin Specialists.
A knowledge and understanding of classic cars, along with a practical understanding of ‘New Era’ technology, is essential to be successful within this role together with experience of workshop operations and the ability to manage and deliver on workshop KPI’s. Effective personnel management, encouraging, motivating and mentoring members of the team, to achieve efficient vehicle throughput, quality and meeting departmental targets is also a prerequisite skill, we will be looking for from applicants for this role.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate relevant experience within a classic, prestige / sports car or classic car workshop environment, either from a franchised dealer or a successful independent, ideally within the Aston Martin marque or a very similar background. The right individual will display an outstanding work ethic, initiative, flexibility, commitment and ability to approach the role with enthusiasm and discipline.

Working under the guidance of our highly experienced department leadership team, we are now seeking an experienced industry professional to join the team. Excellent interpersonal skills will be required as the successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with clients face to face, via telephone and email, identifying their work requirements, processing, managing and administering the workflow, utilising internal and external resources and co-ordinating an effective client handover.
Candidates should possess good technical knowledge, strong IT skills, the ability to effectively manage multiple clients concurrently whilst maintaining high quality outcomes, and ideally be able to demonstrate experience from within a similar environment. Prior experience of the Aston Martin marque would be advantageous but not essential. Nicholas Mee & Company is seeking to recruit an experienced automotive technician to join their successful Service & Aftercare department. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience within a prestige / sports car or classic car workshop environment, either within a franchised dealer or a successful independent.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and restoration of Aston Martin cars (and cars from other prestige marques, from time to time) from the 1950's to the present day. We regularly care for some of the rarest and most desirable cars from Aston Martin's history.
We would be pleased to receive applications for the role from Technicians with existing experience with Heritage vehicles (pre 1990's) or New Era vehicles (1990's onwards) or experience across all era's of vehicles. Work can be allocated accordingly and training and guidance provided where further knowledge is required.
Experience within the Aston Martin marque is preferable but not essential; rather we are seeking the right individual with an outstanding work ethic, initiative, attention to detail, commitment and to approach the role with enthusiasm and discipline.
