Whether your Aston Martin requires its annual service, investigation of a fault, mechanical or electrical repairs, interior trim work, upgrades or partial restoration, the Nicholas Mee & Co Service & Aftercare Team is available to provide specialist advice and support.
Established in 1993, Nicholas Mee & Co is an independent Aston Martin specialist based at Essendonbury Farm in Hertfordshire. Our experienced technicians work on Aston Martin cars from post-war Heritage models through to modern New Era vehicles.
Yes. Nicholas Mee & Co provides servicing and maintenance for Aston Martin cars from post-war Heritage models such as the DB2, DB4, DB5, DB6 and classic V8 through to New Era models including the DB7, Vanquish, DB9, DBS, Vantage and Rapide. We are not currently able to service DB11, New Shaped Style Vantage DBX and DBS Superleggera Models.
Our workshop has the specialist equipment, tooling and experience required to support both classic and modern Aston Martin cars.
Yes. You do not need to have purchased your Aston Martin from Nicholas Mee & Co to use our Service & Aftercare Department. We welcome existing and new customers and can help whether your car requires routine servicing, fault diagnosis, repairs, refurbishment or longer-term maintenance planning.
An Aston Martin should be serviced according to the schedule appropriate to its model, age, mileage and use. For many cars, servicing is determined by elapsed time as well as mileage. Many Aston Martins cover relatively low annual mileages, but regular servicing remains important for maintaining reliability, safety, provenance and future value. Our Service Advisors can review your car’s history and recommend an appropriate schedule.
Low mileage does not remove the need for regular inspection and maintenance. Engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, seals, tyres, batteries and other components can deteriorate through age as well as use.
The correct work will depend on the car, how it is stored and when it was last serviced. Nicholas Mee can review its recent maintenance and recommend a proportionate service rather than relying solely on recorded mileage.
The work included depends on the model, age, mileage and relevant service schedule. A service will generally include replacement of the specified oils and filters together with checks of important mechanical, electrical and safety-related components.
Items such as brakes, tyres, suspension, steering, fluid levels, lighting, cooling systems and visible signs of wear or leakage may also be inspected. The precise schedule and any additional requirements will be explained before work begins.
Yes. Nicholas Mee & Co offers fixed-price servicing for a wide range of Heritage and New Era Aston Martin models.
Prices vary according to the model and required service schedule. Published prices include the stated parts, labour and VAT, while repairs or maintenance outside the scheduled service will be quoted separately. View our current Aston Martin fixed-price servicing information for the latest prices.
The cost depends on the Aston Martin model, its age, service schedule and any additional maintenance it requires. Nicholas Mee publishes starting prices for many popular models, including the DB4, DB5, DB6, DB7, DB9, DBS, Vantage, Vanquish and Rapide. For an accurate quotation, provide the model, registration number, mileage and available service history to our Service & Aftercare Team.
Where possible and appropriate, Nicholas Mee & Co uses genuine Aston Martin parts when servicing or repairing Aston Martin vehicles. For older Heritage cars, certain original components may be obsolete or unavailable. Where an alternative, refurbished or specially manufactured component is required, the available options will be discussed with the owner before work proceeds.
If an inspection identifies work outside the originally agreed service or repair, our Service & Aftercare Team will explain the findings and provide recommendations. Any additional costs and the priority of the work can then be discussed before further repairs are authorised.
The time required depends on the model, service level and condition of the car. Routine servicing may be completed within a working day, while additional investigation, repairs or parts requirements can extend the timescale.
Our Service Advisors will provide an estimated completion time when the booking is made and keep you informed if further work is identified.
Nicholas Mee & Co undertakes a broad range of mechanical repairs. This includes work involving engines, cooling systems, brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, transmissions, clutches, tyres and other vehicle components.
Where specialist work cannot be completed within our own workshop, we can manage the repair through our established network of trusted specialists.
Yes. Our technicians work on post-war Heritage Aston Martins and modern New Era models.
The workshop combines knowledge of traditional Aston Martin construction and engineering with the specialist equipment required for Gaydon-era and more recent vehicles.
Yes. Nicholas Mee & Co undertakes targeted partial restorations and refurbishment projects for classic and modern Aston Martin cars.
This can include mechanical rebuilding, suspension and braking work, body and paintwork, electrical repairs, interior refurbishment, detailing and the restoration or replacement of individual components.
Each project begins with an assessment of the vehicle, its condition, originality, intended use and the owner’s objectives. The work can then be prioritised and completed as a single project or in planned stages.
Yes. Nicholas Mee & Co can supply and install a range of mechanical, electrical, performance, suspension, exhaust, infotainment and cosmetic upgrades for selected Aston Martin models.
Available options include QuickSilver exhaust systems, suspension improvements, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto conversions and selected exterior or interior enhancements. Suitability will depend on the model, age and original specification of the car.
Yes. Nicholas Mee provides four-wheel alignment and geometry checks using Hunter wheel-alignment equipment at our Hertfordshire workshop.
Wheel alignment may be recommended where a car has uneven tyre wear, steering that pulls to one side, an off-centre steering wheel or changes in its handling. It can also be beneficial following suspension or tyre work. Learn more about our Aston Martin four-wheel alignment service.
Yes. Our Electrical Repair Department specialises in diagnosing and repairing electrical problems affecting Heritage and New Era Aston Martin models.
The department works alongside our mechanical technicians and Service Advisors to investigate electrical faults accurately and recommend the most appropriate repair.
Yes. Our workshop has specialist diagnostic equipment and experienced electrical technicians capable of investigating warning lights, electrical faults, engine-management issues, module faults and other electrical problems.
Modern cars are supported using appropriate diagnostic equipment, while faults affecting Heritage models can be investigated using traditional testing methods and decades of Aston Martin experience.
A warning light should not be ignored because its meaning and severity depend on the vehicle and the fault detected.
If a red warning light appears, the car overheats, loses oil pressure, develops unusual noises or suffers a noticeable loss of performance, stop in a safe place and seek professional advice. For other warnings, contact our Service & Aftercare Team promptly and describe the symbol and any accompanying symptoms.
Yes. Nicholas Mee can inspect and repair selected Aston Martin electrical modules and associated components where a suitable repair is possible.
Module repair can sometimes provide a practical alternative to replacing an expensive or obsolete component. Each unit and fault must be assessed individually before we can confirm whether a repair is possible.
Our Electrical Repair Department can investigate a broad range of electrical and electronic problems, including warning lights, battery drain, charging faults, wiring problems, intermittent electrical failures, infotainment faults and problems affecting selected control modules.
The precise diagnostic and repair options will depend on the Aston Martin model, its electrical system and the nature of the fault.
Yes. Our Electrical Repair Department can install Apple CarPlay and Android Auto conversion kits in selected Aston Martin models.
These systems add modern smartphone connectivity while retaining the car’s original dashboard, display and controls where supported by the applicable conversion kit. Compatibility depends on the model, production year and factory infotainment system, so we will confirm the correct option before installation.
Yes. Nicholas Mee & Co has a dedicated in-house Interior Trim and Upholstery Department at Essendonbury Farm.
Keeping this work in-house allows our trim specialists to work closely with the Service & Aftercare Team when a vehicle requires a combination of mechanical, electrical and interior refurbishment.
Yes. Our Interior Trim Department undertakes repairs, partial refurbishment and bespoke interior work for classic and modern Aston Martin cars.
Services include work on leather and Alcantara upholstery, seats, carpets, headlinings, steering wheels, dashboards, door panels, parcel shelves, veneers and other interior components.

Contact the Service & Aftercare Team with details of the vehicle and the work required so that we can confirm whether we can assist.
