The Team

Having started out in the motor trade in 1969, Nicholas joined Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd in 1976 and progressed to being a key member of the company’s management team. Having left Aston Martin in 1991 he went on to form Nicholas Mee & Company Ltd in South Kensington, London before expanding the business into its current location. Apart from his business, Nick’s other interests include tennis, motorsport, cinema and reading.

In addition to previously working for the BAR Honda F1 Team, Neal also enjoyed a stint as Commercial Manager at Aston Martin Racing, where he was involved in the commercial activities of the successful ‘works’ team and sales of the DBR9 and DBRS9 GT racing cars. Having joined Nicholas Mee & Co in 2008, Neal is responsible for the commercial operations of the company. Passionate about all sports, Neal particularly enjoys motorsport, golf and cycling.

Matthew joined the Nicholas Mee team in June 2020 as Sales & Marketing Executive. He has had a passion for classic cars since a child, inspired by his grandfather who worked in the vintage model car industry and as a young man he worked for a local Aston Martin replica and restoration company at the weekends. Consequently, it wasn’t a matter of “if” but “when” Matthew would join the classic car industry full time. Having spent the last few years working in the city as a consultant, he brings a wealth of commercial knowledge and experience. Matthew particularly enjoys the unique stories behind each car, enthusiastically sharing them with clients and friends. His favourite car has to be a DB4 GT and when he’s not at car shows his interests are watches, music and travelling.

Cary has a wealth of motor trade experience as a dealership accountant within the VW franchised dealer environment and is now the back office engine that keeps Nicholas Mee & Company running, having responsibility for all Finance and HR functions. Outside of work Cary relishes time with family, walking, reading and escaping to her native West Country home when time allows.
