Whether you are buying your first Aston Martin, adding to an established collection or considering selling your current car, the Nicholas Mee & Co Sales Team is available to provide knowledgeable guidance.
Established in 1993, Nicholas Mee & Co is an independent Aston Martin specialist based at Essendonbury Farm in Hertfordshire. We buy and sell carefully selected Heritage and New Era Aston Martin models, with every transaction supported by more than 30 years of experience with the marque.
Nicholas Mee & Co offers carefully selected pre-owned Aston Martin cars from the Heritage and New Era periods. Our stock regularly includes models from the DB4, DB5, DB6, DBS and classic V8 ranges, alongside more recent models such as the DB7, Vanquish, DB9, DBS, V8 Vantage, V12 Vantage and Rapide. Availability changes regularly, so please view our current Aston Martin stock or contact our Sales Team if you are searching for a particular model. We conduct many offline sales on behalf of clients for many reasons, such as popular and rare models with a list of waiting buyers or sellers who want a discreet sale.
Nicholas Mee & Co is an independent Aston Martin specialist rather than a franchised main dealer. Established in 1993, the company specialises in the sale, servicing, repair and restoration of Aston Martin cars from the post-war period to modern models.
Buying from an experienced Aston Martin specialist provides access to marque-specific knowledge that can be particularly valuable when assessing a car’s condition, history, specification and future maintenance requirements. Nicholas Mee & Co combines an experienced Sales Team with dedicated Aston Martin workshop, parts, detailing and trim facilities at the same Hertfordshire premises. This allows every stage of the buying and ownership experience to be supported by specialists familiar with the marque.
Every pre-owned Aston Martin offered by Nicholas Mee & Co is subjected to a comprehensive pre-sales inspection and multi-point check. Where applicable, cars are also supplied with a fresh service, 12 months’ MOT, a 12-month warranty including roadside assistance, pre-delivery preparation and a full valet. The exact preparation and warranty arrangements for each car will be confirmed by our Sales Team before purchase.
Yes. Our Sales Team will explain the history and supporting documentation available with each car. Depending on the vehicle, this may include service records, invoices, ownership history, restoration information, factory documentation and details of previous maintenance. The extent of the history will vary between individual cars, particularly with older Heritage models. We will clearly explain what is present and answer any questions before you make a decision.
Important considerations include the car’s mechanical and structural condition, service history, provenance, mileage, ownership history, specification and evidence of previous repair or restoration work. The requirements can differ considerably between a classic Aston Martin and a more recent New Era model. Buying from an established specialist gives you access to advice based on the particular model, its known characteristics and its intended use.
Where applicable, Nicholas Mee cars are supplied with a 12-month warranty including roadside assistance. Warranty eligibility and coverage can vary according to the age, specification and individual circumstances of the vehicle. Our Sales Team will explain the warranty provided with a particular car, including its principal terms and coverage, before purchase.
Yes. We ask where possible all viewings and test drives are done by appointment. Contacting us before travelling is recommended so that we can confirm the vehicle is still available and prepare it for your visit. Our team will also advise you of any identification, driving-licence or insurance requirements applying to a demonstration drive.
Yes. Our website provides detailed descriptions, photographs and videos of the cars currently available. You can contact our Sales Team by telephone, email or online enquiry to discuss a vehicle and the purchasing process. Selected cars can also be reserved online. The applicable reservation, deposit and cancellation terms should be reviewed and confirmed before making a payment.
Specialist finance may be available for both classic and modern Aston Martin purchases through our finance partner, Classic & Sports Finance.
Available products, deposits, repayment periods and balloon arrangements depend on the vehicle and the applicant’s circumstances. All finance is subject to application, status and the lender’s terms and conditions. Visit our car finance page for further information.
Yes. Nicholas Mee & Co can consider your current vehicle as a part exchange against an Aston Martin from our showroom. An initial appraisal can be provided using information about your car, but the final valuation will normally be confirmed following inspection. Please provide accurate details of its mileage, condition, specification, history and any outstanding finance.
Yes. If the Aston Martin you want is not currently available, our vehicle-sourcing service may be able to locate a suitable example through our established network. Provide the Sales Team with your preferred model, age, transmission, specification, colour, mileage and budget. We can then advise whether an appropriate car is available or likely to become available.
Vehicle delivery arrangements may be available following completion of the purchase. The options and cost will depend on the vehicle, destination and type of transport required. Please discuss delivery with our Sales Team before completing your purchase so that suitable arrangements can be agreed.
Yes. Our Service & Aftercare Department supports Aston Martin owners with servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, restoration, upgrades, detailing, parts, trim and upholstery. Having Sales and Service & Aftercare teams at the same premises provides continuity from selecting and purchasing an Aston Martin through to its long-term ownership and maintenance.
Nicholas Mee & Co considers Heritage and New Era Aston Martin cars for outright purchase, part exchange or consignment sale. Our Sales Team can assess your car and recommend the most appropriate route based on its model, condition, specification, history, value and your preferred timescale.
We are interested in a broad range of post-war Aston Martin models, including DB4, DB5, DB6, DBS, classic V8, DB7, Vanquish, DB9, Vantage, Rapide and DBS V12 vehicles. We may also consider particularly rare, collectable or high-quality cars from other marques. Every vehicle is assessed individually.
With an outright purchase, Nicholas Mee & Co agrees a price and purchases the vehicle directly from you. This can provide a relatively quick and straightforward sale. With a consignment or commission sale, the car is marketed through Nicholas Mee & Co on your behalf. This route may suit owners seeking access to our specialist presentation, marketing, showroom and international customer network. Our Sales Team will explain the costs, likely timescale and responsibilities before any agreement is made.
An Aston Martin valuation considers factors including the model, age, mileage, specification, mechanical and cosmetic condition, service history, provenance, ownership history and current market demand. The first valuation may be based on the details and photographs you provide. A final offer or recommended selling price will normally require a physical inspection of the car.
Please provide the model, year, registration number, mileage, exterior and interior colours, specification, service history, ownership details and an honest description of the car’s condition. Recent photographs and information about restoration work, modifications, accident repairs or outstanding finance will also help us provide a more informed initial appraisal.
Yes, Nicholas Mee & Co can still consider a car without a complete service history. However, missing records may influence its valuation, marketability and the most suitable route to sale. Provide all the documentation that remains available, including invoices, MOT records, restoration photographs and correspondence relating to previous work.
A vehicle with outstanding finance may still be considered, but the finance must be settled as part of the transaction and the lender’s requirements must be followed. Please disclose any outstanding agreement at the beginning of the valuation process and obtain an up-to-date settlement figure. Our Sales Team can then advise whether and how the proposed transaction can proceed.
Yes. If you are purchasing a car from Nicholas Mee & Co, your existing Aston Martin or another suitable vehicle may be considered in part exchange. Once your vehicle has been inspected and valued, the agreed value can be applied towards the purchase price of your next car.
Yes. Enquiries concerning the valuation or potential sale of a vehicle are handled discreetly and professionally. Submitting your vehicle details does not commit you to a sale. Our team will first discuss the available options and recommend the route considered most appropriate for your circumstances.
The timescale depends on the chosen method of sale, the individual car, its price and current market demand. An outright purchase will generally provide a faster conclusion than a consignment sale. If your car is sold on consignment, the Sales Team will discuss its positioning, expected marketing period and progress with you.
