Followers might be interested to learn that each year, approximately 15-20% of our car sales are conducted ‘offline’. That can be because the client for whom we are selling the car prefers the discretion of an offline sale but most commonly, it is a result of us having a database of clients who have notified us of their interest in acquiring a particular model of Aston Martin. When a new example arrives in stock, our first port of call is to review the database and reach out to those who have expressed an interest in that particular model. It often works!
Here is a recent offline sale that we felt was too good looking a car not to share, a 2016 Vantage GT12. This 1 owner, low mileage example was finished in Appletree Green over Pure Black alcantara and Sahara Tan hides. Hopefully the photos do it justice but trust us, the car looked sensational in the metal.
The GT12 model is now gaining the attention it deserves and it has probably been our most requested model of 2024. We have willing buyers on the database, at the ready, so if you have an example you wish to sell, do be in touch as we may well be able to achieve a prompt and efficient sale!
Unveiled by Aston Martin in 2015 as the most potent and uncompromising Vantage to date: the track-inspired Vantage GT12. With production strictly limited to just 100 examples (only 28 of which were UK right hand drive), the new model combined all of Aston Martin’s learning from its highly successful and iconic GT racing programme to produce its most performance focused road-going Vantage.
Significantly re-engineered from the ‘normal’ V12 S, the GT12 shed 100kg through the extensive use of carbon fibre body panels; bonnet, bumpers, front wings and optionally, roof.
The 7-speed Sportshift III transmission was also revised for quicker shifts, while the significant aero additions; a rear wing, front splitter, rear diffuser and side skirts- increased downforce by 7 times over the standard V12 S. Chassis updates included a wider track and massive carbon ceramic brake discs. Power from the 6.0 litre V12 was increased from 550 to 592 bhp, rendering it “Outrageous and addictive, a force of nature” according to EVO’s Richard Meaden.
If you are looking for a particular model or, for that matter, a particular car, do let us know as we may well know one where is or can ensure that you are the first to know about any new arrivals. Likewise, if you have a car that you are wishing to sell, we would be delighted to hear from you and to offer our expert advice on value and the best route to market.
