Purchased from its second owner in 2005, the new long-standing Aston Martin enthusiast owner, instructed Aston Martin Works to complete a full programme of factory V600 upgrades, concurrently with carrying out a comprehensive maintenance service, regardless of the low mileage covered. Some 12 manufacturer scheduled services have been carried out to date, over the limited 3,800 miles the car has now covered in total. When not in use on the roads, the car has been kept in ideal garaging, whilst being regularly run and attended to by professionals.

Aston Martin DBZ Centenary Collection – Market Debut

Launched in October 2019, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Milanese coachbuilders, Zagato and a 60-year period of a successful collaboration between British manufacturer Aston Martin and the Milan based coach building atelier and design studio.

The pairing of a classic DB4 GT Zagato Continuation model with a contemporary DBS GT Zagato, carried a price tag of some £6.1 Million plus local taxes when launched, with production restricted to just 19 pairs. Production commenced in 2019 at Aston Martin’s Newport Pagnell manufacturing facilities.

The combination of Italian styling flair with British engineering, has over 60 years produced some of the world’s most desirable and collected motor cars, of which the DB4 GT Zagato is acknowledged as one. Made available to order at the Aston Martin official launch in October 2019, held at the prestigious Audrain Concours in Rhode Island USA, the exclusive and limited production run of just 19 pairs, were sold to collectors world-wide.

Being brought to market for the first time, the pair are being offered at a considerable saving over the manufacturers launch price. Based in the USA, the pair are available immediately for purchase and delivery wherever required, with the assistance of our shipping partners.

The pair, configured in Left Hand Drive, both finished in Caribbean Pearl, over Dark Blue interiors, have covered nominal miles from new and been professionally stored since being manufactured and handed over to their first owner. Titled and registered in North America, the DBZ Centenary Collection is available for the first time since being manufactured in 2019.

The DB4 GT Zagato Continuation

Regarded by classic car collectors and automotive aficionados as one of the most beautiful Aston Martin ever created, just 19 examples were built in the early 1960’s, with international motorsport objectives. The model offered the ultimate performance available in 1960 and were campaigned in International sportscar racing, including at the Le Mans 24 hr races. Original examples have, in recent years, acquired an ‘unobtainable’ status in collector circles, with the majority of the 19 manufactured, now securely stored in investor vaults. Values of £8-10 million + have become established numbers in the global collector market, dependant on individual car and competition history, , commanded by sellers who may occasionally tire of their cars beauty and wish to divest.

Hand built, to the highest possible quality, 60 years later in 2019, by Aston Martin’s UK based Heritage centre in Newport Pagnell, the magnificent DB4 GT Zagato Continuation’s were built to the 1960’s original configuration, utilising the traditional engineering and hand building skill, combined with modern engineering advancements and performance enhancements. The lightweight aluminium coachwork, steel chassis, mechanical components and traditional hand building skills, remained employed in the creation of the continuation DB4 GT Zagato’s. Completed with all new components and to ultimate specifications corresponding to the 1960’s-built examples, production was restricted to 19 cars only.
