1998 ASTON MARTIN V8 COUPE #91 OF 101

Finished in one of the most desirable colour combinations for this model and benefitting from low mileage and a comprehensive servicing and maintenance regime, we are pleased to offer this superb ‘late model’ 1998 V8 Coupe.

The Aston Martin V8 Coupe adopted the styling cues and significantly, the chassis improvements of the flagship V8 Vantage 550 supercharged model, in an elegant and more subtly styled body. Now highly sought after, the V8 Coupe is a Grand Tourer par excellence and is refined, with a luxuriously appointed interior, generous 2+2 seating and well-balanced body styling. Attributes, which when combined with the model’s effortless performance, give a superb Grand Touring experience.

Finished in Rolls Royce Midnight Blue and complemented with Parchment and Pacific Blue Connolly hide interior. This excellent example much cherished by its 4 owners from new, is complete with a comprehensive Aston Martin service history, from the original supplying dealer onward, with services carried out by Aston Martin Works and highly respected AM specialists.

Purchased by its last but one owner from ourselves in 2017, an enthusiast and collector of the marque, more recently the car has been fitted with a new audio system and new set of tyres by surrey-based AM specialist’s. This particular car, has also been Immortalised and now features in the definitive AMV8 reference book, the 'Aston Martin V8’ by Palawan Press. More exclusive and refined, than both its Virage and V8 predecessors, the hand built and extreme low volume production V8 Coupe’s, warrant attention from enthusiasts and collectors alike. This late example is one of the finest we know and is in particularly excellent order, throughout.

Supplied with an extensive history file, including servicing and MOT records, a manufacturer’s build sheet and its original, 1998 purchase invoice. 2016 MORGAN AERO 8 MKV CONVERTIBLE

Bespoke, bonkers, brilliant! We are excited and delighted to offer this unique, highly specified and head turning Morgan Aero 8 convertible for sale.

One of the most innovative models in Morgan’s history, the Aero 8 made its debut in 2000, gaining a loyal following of enthusiasts enticed by its distinctive styling, personality and performance. The Aero 8 was to evolve over the years and at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015, Morgan announced that the Morgan Aero 8 would be revived with a Series 5 model.

The Series 5 reintroduced a soft top to the Aero range but still using the same BMW 4.8L V8 engine (providing 367bhp / 490NM of torque) and manual or automatic gearbox. This was completed by the new design lead Jonathan Wells with the intention of bringing a fresh theme to the model with more modern materials. New interior finishes with a change to the dashboard and infotainment continue to update the experience.
The car retained the front design of the Aero models however the rear design was more akin to the boat tail of the Supersports. The revised rear design permitted it to have a fabric roof that can be stored in the rear parcel slot, giving the car a flat rear deck profile.

The Series 5 also had a completely new front and rear suspension, with anti-roll bars and outboard conventional wishbones and coil over units. Additional structural elements replacing the inboard suspension units gave added chassis stiffness.

We understand that just 160 Mark V Aero 8’s were produced, between 2016-2018.

It is a 6-speed ZF manual gearbox example we now offer. Finished in the stunning Aero Racing exclusive Satin Speed Silver over Yarwood Black Leather, complimented by a Black mohair convertible hood.
Exterior optional extras specified on this example include; Morgan MK V Aero 8 AERO RACING Performance pack, 19” Plus Six Alloy Wheel upgrade in Black Chrome, Exclusive AR Motorsport paint (only available on AR cars or with purchase of Aero performance packs), Bespoke Black Chrome wing and splitter cooling vent mesh, Matt Paint protection Film, side exit Sports exhausts, Red Callipers, Gloss Black Chrome Diffuser, AR Motorsport detailing pack, headrest embroidery and AR bonnet badges

Interior optional extras specified include; Yarwood Brooklands Black Leather, Air conditioning, Cruise Control, Red Seat belts, Red Leather handbrake gator, Red Gear stick Gator, Red switch panel trim, Aero racing Black leather steering wheel with polished centre, Raven Ash Wood door tops and Dash top, Raven Ash Wood Laminate for gearbox tunnel top, Box Weave carpet trim to tunnel, sills, parcel shelf in Black, Diamond Quilted leather on seat centres and door panels and Heated seats.

Having covered under 18,000 miles from new and benefitting from Morgan main agent servicing since new, with the last service carried out by Morgan in February 2024, just 200 miles ago, this car is in superb condition throughout.

For sheer character and charm, few cars can match the Morgan Aero 8. Truly hand built, in tiny volumes and with a traditional look, yet the Aero 8 is a thoroughly modern sports car. Tempted? You should be!

1996 ASTON MARTIN V8 COUPE

Finished in Buckinghamshire Green with Magnolia and spruce green Connolly hide interior, with burr Walnut finishers. Equipped with 4 speed automatic transmission and optional sports exhaust.

A superb, low mileage and factory maintained example of the rare and highly acclaimed V8 Coupe. Delivered and first registered when new to Aston Martin Mayfair in November 1996, this exceptional car was retained for 5 weeks as a demonstration vehicle, before being purchased by and delivered to it’s first private owner in December 1996 with 250 miles recorded.

Enjoying the car for some 20 years, whilst covering only 18,000 miles, servicing and maintenance was carried out exclusively by Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell for the first private owner, prior to our purchase and resale of the car in 2017.

Successively maintained and serviced by Aston Martin Works and ourselves, for the subsequent two owners, the mileage covered to date is just 22,500 miles in total.

With 3 private owners from new, this exceptionally well presented and maintained example of the V8 Coupe, one of the last hand-built Aston Martin models manufactured at the Newport Pagnell manufacturing facility, is in exceptional condition in all respects and is a credit to the cherished ownership and comprehensive maintenance regime, extended to this car.

With less than 70 right hand drive examples built, the V8 Coupe offers a relaxed, comfortable and rapid Grand Touring experience, at a fraction of the cost of its supercharged big brother, the V8 Vantage V550. Sharing the same chassis and suspension architecture as the Vantage V550, the less complex nature of the V8 Coupe’s normally aspirated V8 engine, producing a healthy 350 bhp with 370 ft lbs of torque, propels the car to a top speed of 155 mph, whilst being less costly to maintain and fuel.

Equipped with superbly comfortable Connolly hide covered 8-way heated electric seats, climate control, ABS and air bag safety features, cruise control and ample stowage which, when combined with the plentiful power from the 5.3 litre engine and reassuring reserves of handling and road holding, give the driver a compelling combination of classic and contemporary GT motoring.

Included with the car is an extensive history file which includes the originally supplied owners handbook with fully stamped service record pages, continuous MoT certificates from 1999 onwards, all service and maintenance invoices, former keeper V5 registration documents and a copy of the original sales invoice when new, issued by Aston Martin Mayfair.

Supplied freshly serviced, MoT tested, prepared to our usual exacting standards and inclusive of 12 months warranty, the original factory supplied vehicle tool kit and spare keys.

Available for viewing and demonstration now at our Hertfordshire showrooms.

2002 FERRARI 575M MARANELLO

Finished in the classic colour combination of Grigio Titanio over Bordeaux hides, we are delighted to offer this superb, reference example of Ferrari’s 575M Maranello.

Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2002, the 575M Maranello signalled a whole new level of achievement for one of Ferrari’s most traditional layouts – the V12 front-engined rear-wheel drive berlinetta.
Replacing the successful 550 Maranello, in essence the 575 was an uprated 550, built on the same tubular steel chassis but with a bigger and more powerful engine (575 being shorthand for 5,748cc) and other significant modifications signalled by the ‘M’ in the name, (‘M’ standing for Modificata). On top of its extra power – 515hp versus the 550’s 485hp – it had drilled and ventilated brakes with more servo assistance, different front to back weight distribution, better aerodynamics (mainly achieved by changes to the underbody) and electronically controlled adaptive suspension, along with a revised and improved interior.

During the four-year production run (2002-2006) a total of just over 2,000 575M’s were produced, for worldwide consumption.

The example, we are now pleased to offer, was first supplied by Maranello Sales, Official Ferrari dealer in Egham, Surrey in July 2002, finished in Grigio Titanio over Bordeaux hides with optional desirable ‘Fiorano’ Handling Pack along with satellite navigation and Scuderia Ferrari wing mounted shields.
Having recorded just 6,400 miles from new, in the hands of its 3 owners, this car presents in outstanding condition throughout, the exterior being unmarked and the interior unblemished.

Servicing has been carried out by Ferrari main agents and highly respected marque specialists, including its last, major, service by Bob Houghton in August 2022, less than 1,200 miles ago, at which time cambelts and auxiliary belts were changed, along with an interior ‘sticky switch’ refurbishment. A recent ‘Vehicle Health Check’ by Ferrari confirms the car to be fault free, ‘on the button’ and ready to be enjoyed, supplied with 12 months MOT.

The car is accompanied by its original owner’s manual, tool kit, spare keys, Ferrari battery trickle-charger, and book packs including the service book.

Available for viewing and demonstration at our Hertfordshire showrooms.

2017 ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE GT8

We are delighted to offer this discreetly specified, ultra-low mileage, ‘as new’ example of Aston Martin’s race inspired sportscar, the limited-edition Vantage GT8.

Inspired and influenced by the V8 Vantage GTE race car, the GT8 was the lightest and most powerful V8 Vantage ever, when launched in April 2016. In addition to the dramatically sculpted, wide bodied carbon fibre bodywork and revised performance orientated chassis, the 4.7 litre V8 engine was upgraded to produce 440bhp. The GT8 was available with either the 6-speed manual or Sportshift III gearbox. This combined with the dramatic weight saving of up to 100 kg (depending upon options chosen), the Vantage GT8 boasted some very impressive performance numbers including 4.4sec 0-62mph and a top speed of 190mph.

Limited to just 150 cars worldwide, predictably all had sold out shortly after being announced in 2016. Just 80 were built for the UK RHD market, 68 of which were 6-speed manual specification.

Much admired by motoring journalists and road testers alike, the profile of this model was further cemented by Aston Martin securing class victory at the gruelling Nurburgring 24 Hours in 2017 in a ‘close to production’ specification Vantage GT8.

The GT8 we are now very excited to offer, is finished in the simple, restrained livery of Scintilla Silver with no ‘Halo’ Pack. The lightweight interior combines luxury fitments and creature comforts with carbon fibre and Pure Black Alcantara. Using data supplied by the Aston Martin Heritage Trust register, we can confirm that just 2 GT8’s were finished in Scintilla Silver, the other of which having Red accents and Chancellor Red stitching, therefore making this example a unique, ‘One of One’.

This manual transmission example was first registered in January 2017. Notable optional extras include: Gloss Carbon aero pack, Exposed Carbon Fibre lower, rear and side valances, Red brake calipers, Stainless Steel Exhaust system, Full length Twill Carbon fascia trim, Vantage GT8 logo headrest embroidery, Front grille carbon, Reversing Camera, Vantage GT8 decklid badge, Lightweight Carbon Fibre Manual seats and 7 spoke Satin Black wheels. A full build specification is available by request.

First supplied to its marque enthusiast owner in January 2017 by Aston Martin Chichester, servicing and maintenance has been carried out annually either by the same dealer or ourselves and having covered under 300 miles and having been protected by full body PPF, the car presents in ‘as new’ condition throughout.

Not only are these Vantage GT8’s rewarding and intoxicating to drive, with their racing heritage, normally aspirated engines combined with 6-speed manual gearboxes, one of the best exhaust notes of all time and very limited production numbers, the model certainly has all the right ingredients for future classic status. Our view? Possibly Aston Martins best ever ‘drivers’ car. Buy one now before they all disappear!

Supplied to its next owner, freshly serviced, to schedule, prepared to our usual exacting standards, with 12 months MOT and 12 months warranty along with a custom fit car cover and model relevant cherished registration number.

Available for viewing and demonstration now at our Hertfordshire showrooms.

Description

2004 ASTON MARTIN DB AR1 #001 of 099 – LHD

A fantastic, unrepeatable opportunity for any collector or enthusiast of the Aston Martin marque, this DB AR1, car 001 of just 99 produced, finished in the iconic colour of Aston Green over soft white hides and in immaculate condition, as befits just 939 miles from new.

Rekindling the long-standing association between the marque and Zagato of Milan, in 2003, Aston Martin unveiled the DB7 Zagato. This very special coupe was built as a strictly limited production run of only 99 cars, all of which were quickly sold. Due to homologation problems, the DB7 Zagato was not offered to the US market. To satisfy the demand created by the coupe a special ‘roadster’ version was styled by Zagato, using the standard DB7 Volante chassis to overcome type approval issues. Called the ‘DB American Roadster 1’ (DB AR1) the open model was built after the coupe and in fact final assembly was completed at the new Gaydon plant alongside the first DB9’s.

Again, just 99 cars were built, cementing the model as one of the marque’s rarest and most unique models. With distinctive coachwork, the DB AR1 was conceived for American market, however a very small number were supplied to the European market.

The DB AR1 used the standard 6.0 litre V12 from DB7 Vantage with Touchtronic transmission, capable of powering the car to 184 mph. Styling was very similar to DB7 Zagato with the same large grille and twin cowls behind the front seats tapering into the trunk lid, echoing the design cues of the ‘double bubble’ roof design from the coupe. Designed with a sunnier climate in mind, the DB AR1 had no roof or hood covering at all – just a simple rain cover to protect the leather interior when parked.

The example we are now delighted to offer, is particularly special, being number 001 of the 99 produced. First supplied new to the USA, via Aston Martin Agents in Dallas, Texas, in 2004, this car was imported to the UK in 2014, where it resides today. Enthusiast owned whilst in the UK and proudly entered into previous AMOC Concours Events.

Finished in Aston Green over Soft White hides, the car is complete with its tailored indoor car cover, battery conditioner, original DB AR1 book (signed by Carroll Shelby), leather bound history file, roof cover and two Aston Martin umbrellas. A model relevant cherished number plate also accompanies the car.

Offered in immaculate condition, having covered a mere 939 miles from new, this rare and beautiful car is ready to be enjoyed on the open road, or to grace any collection.

Available now at our Hertfordshire showrooms.

With power in excess of 400 bhp available from the fully developed original Tadek Marek designed Aston Martin 6-cylinder engine, a total weight of less than 1000 kilos and with limited traction from the regulated narrow width tyres, driven via a limited slip beam axle. The extreme performance of the lightweight DB4’s attracted many professional and amateur drivers, entertaining many race spectators in period, with their lively performance and easily provoked ‘sideways action’ on UK and international circuits.

This exciting Lightweight DB4, chassis DB4/552/R, is an early Series II example, was supplied by AM dealer Charles Sidney of Yorkshire in March 1961. Enjoyed as a road car for some 20 years, its first taste of competition was between 1980 and 1982, when it was driven in AMOC hill climb events. Between 1986 and 1990, the car was restored and rebuilt to its Lightweight specification by the combined efforts of Ian Mason Ltd, Tickford Engineering, and ADA Engineering. Initially fitted with an upgraded 4.2-litre engine, between 1990 and 2000 it was owned and raced by Kohji Nakauchi, a Japanese collector passionate about British cars, who had previously owned both the Scimitar sports car marque and the Brabham F1 team during the late 1980’s.

When this car returned to the UK, just after the millennium, it was the subject of a further upgrade programme, including the engine being rebuilt to a 4.5-litre specification by Aston Engineering in 2005 and further uprated to, full race specification in 2007. Its David Brown four-speed gearbox was rebuilt with Hewland competition internals, the front suspension modified with lowered front roll centre, adjustable front anti roll bar, competition springs, adjustable dampers and AP Racing brakes fitted. The limited slip live rear axle also equipped with adjustable control arms, competition coil springs & dampers and with Girling competition brake callipers.

For many years DB4/552/R was maintained and prepared by the late racer and engineer Colin Blower and Aston Engineering Ltd and has been an extremely reliable and competitive entrant in Aston Martin Owners Club racing. Throughout its motorsport life it has appeared in circa 100 races, a remarkable achievement which certainly bears testament to the quality of its competition build and maintenance.

This Lightweights last circuit appearance was at the AMOC Racing St John Horsfall Memorial Meeting in October 2020, when it was campaigned by renowned motoring journalist and racer Andrew Frankel and Peter Smith, whilst in 2021 it ran in that years Brighton Speed Trials.

Quite possibly the most developed of all of the DB4 Lightweights, this example is finished in Metallic Chiltern Green and its interior is presented in tidy and good cosmetic condition.

Extensive history files noting every race entry and result, showing its wonderful race history dating back to the 1980s, along with numerous works invoices and associated paperwork, are also supplied with the car.

Currently UK registered and supplied with a current V5 UK registration document, this early Series II DB4, can either continue to be competitively campaigned in select motor sport events or alternatively, would make an ideal basis for a restoration, to either its former standard road car specifications or to mildly modified ‘fast road’ specifications.

In mildly modified form the team cars were raced in 1950 and 1951, obtaining class wins in the famed Le Mans 24 hr endurance races. 2019 ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH ZAGATO SHOOTING BRAKE #71 of 99

We are thrilled to offer to market, this sensational 2019 Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake, finished in Scorching Black over Metallic Black hides with Spicy red contrast stitching and presented in ‘as new’ condition, as befits the mileage of just 27 miles from new!

Unveiled to great acclaim at the prestigious Monterey Car Week in August 2017, the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake was the then latest creation from the long-standing partnership with the Italian design-house, Zagato and which completed the quartet of Vanquish Zagato’s, alongside the Coupe, Volante and Speedster models.

The Vanquish Zagato Shooting brake production run was limited to just 99 cars worldwide, with 48 in right hand drive.

The Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake was based upon Aston Martin’s highly successful Vanquish S model that utilised their VH chassis architecture, mated with a 6.0 litre V12 engine, in this model tuned to produce 595bhp, capable of propelling the car to a 0-60mph time of 3.5sec. Bodied entirely in Carbon Fibre, the Vanquish Zagato incorporates many of the design houses signature styling cues such as the ‘double bubble’ roof and large front grille, built with the exquisite ‘Z’ pattern. At the rear, the bladed LED lights provide a futuristic look.

Not only sublime to look at, the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake is also sensational to drive, courtesy of; the most powerful engine available, the lighter weight, as a result of the extensive use of carbon fibre, the 8-speed Touchtronic III ZF gearbox, adaptive damping and incredible stopping power from its Carbon Ceramic brakes.

The Shooting Brake is still a strict two-seater, but one conceived as an individual and exceptionally practical GT. The extended roof bears the iconic Zagato ‘double-bubble’ surfacing complete with glass inlays to let light flood into the cockpit.

This Villa D’Este Pack equipped example, #71 of 99, is specified with numerous optional extras including; Red brake calipers, black textured exhaust tailpipe finishers, full length twill carbon fascia trim, Shadow bronze/anodized Gold interior finish pack, One77 full leather steering wheel, carbon fibre roof panels, bronze side strakes, carbon fibre side fenders, Multispoke Shooting Brake Bronze tinted diamond turned wheels and Black side window finishers. Benefitting from annual servicing, at Aston Martin Main agents, this car will be supplied to its next custodian freshly serviced, with 12 months MOT and 12 months warranty.

Supplied with all keys and owner’s manual and original umbrella.

When considering an original purchase price of over £600,000 and given the depreciation curve followed by previous limited edition Zagato Aston Martin models, combined with the inflationary effect on prices of new Aston Martin models, this car may well now represent superb value.

One of the most dramatic cars of the last decade, very sensible to own and maintain and likely to become a highly collectible. A fitting way to end the glorious VH chassis platform / V12 engine era.
