Giddy is perhaps the word that best describes the world of Classic Cars right now. Not from jumping in and out of fast cars, but from the sheer pace of events over the past few weeks.
The Goodwood Revival, the Concours of Elegance at Windsor Castle, Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace, plus the RM Sotheby’s and Bonhams auctions, are just some of the events that comprise what has become the UK’s ‘Classic Car Week’. Along with hundreds of thousands of other enthusiasts from all over the globe, we’re now catching our breath after a very busy summer.
The classic car scene is no longer a quiet world of old boys tinkering with their toys. Forget that. Our area of commerce is now firmly entrenched and vibrant in today's society. The enthusiasm and luxury lifestyle that comes with owning a classic is underpinned by annual events such as those above, with even more planned for the future. You could say that these events are the chess boards for the chess pieces we bring to market…
As for a sit/rep on the state of the market, well I guess the above says it all – it’s very much business as usual.
If the day ends in Y, it must be Vantage Day!
One of the more interesting aspects of having been trading for over 25 years is the number of customers we’ve been lucky to deal with during that time. A ‘client bank’, for want of a better description. It’s one of the greatest assets for any company and one, which when nurtured, brings benefits. For example; we recently bought in to stock a Vantage Zagato from the other side of the world, from the same family we sold it to in the very early ‘90s, along with a Vantage ‘X’ pack we last sold some nine years ago.
We proudly present some of the most desirable classic Aston Martins for sale simply by having sold quality cars into our client bank and by nurturing those clients over many years. Put simply, it’s the reason you’ll find a number of exceptional Vantages for sale on our website now. Available here and not anywhere else! A clear example of NM&Co’s ‘Advantage'.Happy Motoring!
