On 3 July, it’s hoped that some 600 Aston Martins will be attending a charity event at one of the homes of British three-day eventing. We’ll be there, and suggest you are too.
Billed as a “different kind of horsepower”, the high summer day out at one of the homes of British three-day eventing will be dedicated to all things Aston Martin and the organisers Have attracted over 600 Astons
to the wonderful grounds of Burghley House, Stamford, Lincs.
And it’s all in aid of charity: Cancer Research UK and ‘Chicks’, a charity that helps disadvantaged children enjoy some outdoor living with mini breaks and activities, will benefit from the £10.00 entry fee per car, as
well as other money raised on the day. The day starts with arrival for display from 09:30 and activities will continue to around 17:00. The park itself will remain open until dusk, and paid-up attendees will receive a 50 per cent concession on entry to
Burghley House, the grand sixteenth-century country house that’s been home to the Cecil family since 1587.
Other activities planned include a raffle and a charity auction, and that other “surprises are in store for your enjoyment but we can’t give away all the secrets at this stage...” say the organisers.
It all sounds a wonderful day out in the heart of the British countryside with many like-minded, Aston-driving enthusiasts. We’ll be there.
The event will be held at Burghley House, Stamford, Lincolnshire PE9 3JY on Sunday, 3 July and is supported by the Aston Martin Owners Club.
