NICHOLAS MEE - MANAGING DIRECTOR
Having started out in the motor trade in 1969, Nicholas joined Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd in 1976 and progressed to being a key member of the company’s management team. Having left Aston Martin in 1991 he went on to form Nicholas Mee & Company Ltd in South Kensington, London before expanding the business into its current location. Apart from his business, Nick’s other interests include tennis, motorsport, cinema and reading.
NEAL GARRARD - COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
In addition to previously working for the BAR Honda F1 Team, Neal also enjoyed a stint as Commercial Manager at Aston Martin Racing, where he was involved in the commercial activities of the successful ‘works’ team and sales of the DBR9 and DBRS9 GT racing cars. Having joined Nicholas Mee & Co in 2008, Neal is responsible for the commercial operations of the company, including marketing, HR and finance functions. Passionate about all sports, Neal particularly enjoys motorsport, golf and cycling.
ED BARTON-HILTON - SALES & MARKETING MANAGER
After completing his degree in Automotive Design, Ed worked for Volkswagen Group UK before his lifelong passion and association with Aston Martins lead him to Nicholas Mee & Co in 2011 to launch the company's new Brackenbury House showrooms. Ed is responsible for the purchase and sales of New Era and Heritage vehicles, also giving focus to NMC's marketing and media operations. Outside of work Edward enjoys motorsport, skiing and rugby.
CARY PATEL - FINANCE MANAGER
Cary has a wealth of motor trade experience as a dealership accountant within the VW franchised dealer environment and is now the back office engine that keeps Nicholas Mee and Company running, having responsibility for all Finance and HR functions. Outside of work Cary relishes time with family, walking, reading and escaping to her native West Country home when time allows.
DOMINIC BRIDGER - SERVICE & AFTERCARE
At 16 years of age after a successful work experience with a Chrysler and Jeep franchise, Dominic was employed full time as a workshop apprentice. After 6 years in the workshop in a technician role, Dominic’s knowledge and work ethic earned a series of promotions up to Service Manager of a successful multi franchise Service department. Dominic joins the Nicholas Mee & Company team as our Service & Aftercare Advisor at our Brackenbury Garage workshop. Dominic spent many years as an Ice Hockey professional including appearances for his country but has given the puck up for family time, car shows, track days, golf and football.
JON WATMORE - SERVICE & AFTERCARE
Jon is equipped with 40 years of experience in the motor trade, during which time he has worked at some of the world’s most prestigious automotive marques, including Ford, Jaguar and Mercedes. Having spent the last 11 years working in the service department of the world`s oldest Aston Martin dealership, Jon is hugely knowledgeable with all Aston Martin cars. Jon now fulfils an important role within Nicholas Mee & Co as a key point of contact to our Service & Aftercare customers. Away from work, Jon’s interests include photography, motorsport and football.
JAMES DYER - PARTS SPECIALIST
James joins the Nicholas Mee & Company team as our Parts Specialist, sourcing those routine service items as well as those elusive, hard to find parts. James previously served his technical apprenticeship as a Heritage Technician with Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell, going on to maintain and restore many of the Heritage models during his 5 years with the company. In his spare time, James enjoys fitness and competing in ‘Ironman’ triathlons and football.
ROY WILLIS - SENIOR TECHNICIAN
With much experience on both Aston Martin and Jaguar models, Roy specialises in all aspects of mechanical work with particular emphasis on restoration and problem solving. Roy was also a key member of the Nicholas Mee Racing team. Away from the workshop his interests include football, water skiing, boats and Aston Martin V8s.
ALAN MOSS - SENIOR TECHNICIAN
Alan joins the service team having gained extensive experience in the industry in previous roles at a well known Lotus dealer and with a leading motorsport organization preparing and running GT race cars. Benefitting from a solid Aston Martin foundation at a leading Aston Martin specialist, Alan adds knowledge of both New Era and Heritage models to our expanding service department. Away from the workshop, fitness fanatic Alan enjoys cycling and running and retains a strong interest in motorsport.
ANGUS PATON - SENIOR TECHNICIAN
Having started his career by restoring an old Lagonda, Angus is delighted to return to the marque he most cherishes in his role of Technician at Nicholas Mee & Co. Angus has enjoyed a lengthy career with an involvement in a number of marques including MG / Rover and, with extensive auto electrics and auto diagnostic experience, Angus is happiest identifying and solving technical issues. When released occasionally from our workshops, Angus enjoys glider flying, scuba diving and travel.
JOSH PEARCE - SENIOR TECHNICIAN
Josh began his career as an apprentice at the world’s oldest Aston Martin dealer and has continued his career in his favourite marque gaining 10 years’ experience since. Having spent time working on both Heritage and New Era models, Josh is experienced with all post war Aston Martin models. When away from the workshop, Josh enjoys scuba diving and attending car and motorsport events. Land Rover Defender driving Josh is currently saving his pennies for a Series 1 Land Rover!
GRAHAM HUDSON - VALETING & SUPPORT
Although working for many years for British Airways, Graham has been associated with Aston Martin since the 1970s when working for Aston Martin's sales subsidiary. Always willing to assist customers in our showroom, his exceptional understanding and knowledge of the marque is freely available to visitors. Graham’s hobbies include collecting oriental art and fine polishing.
ARKADIUSZ BORTKO - VALETING & SUPPORT
Arak is the man responsible for making both our sales cars and customers cars look great! Joining the team on a full time basis in 2015, Arak has a vast amount of technical experience working on various machinery from Kias to tanks! Having moved from Poland in 2007, Arak now is responsible for the valeting and detailing of our cars along with supporting our workshop team on various technical tasks. Outside of work, Arak enjoys working on cars, socialising with friends, football, classic Mercedes and of course, classic Aston Martins!
