Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4, built by Aston Martin Lagonda in 2007. This car was successfully raced by leading team, Vantage Racing in various endurance races including the Britcar Championship and the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge. Subsequently, this car, named affectionately as ‘Alec’, returned back to its original home, Prototype Operations at Aston Martin Lagonda, Gaydon, to be rebuilt with a 4.7litre engine and 2011 aerodynamic kit. ‘Alec’ was then raced in the 2011 Aston Martin GT4 Challenge, driven by a number of high profile automotive journalists including Andrew Frankel, Jethro Bovingdon and BBC’s Chris Partridge securing a number of podium finishes along the way. Supplied in very good condition with racing mileage left on both the gearbox and engine. Suitable for racing in the 2012 Aston Martin GT4 Challenge, British GT, Britcar etc, track days or potentially fast road usage (subject to road registration).
