Operating from our 7,000 sq ft, 1930s-built workshop and showroom in Hammersmith, West London, Nicholas Mee & Co has a collective 60+ years of knowledge and exclusive experience of Aston Martins. Our personable and specialized team are pleased to lend expert advice on all matters of Aston Martin ownership.
Nicholas Mee,
Managing Director
Having started out in the motor trade in 1969, Nicholas joined Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd in 1976 and progressed to being a key member of the company’s management team. Having left Aston Martin in 1991 he went on to form Nicholas Mee & Company Ltd in South Kensington, London before expanding the business into its current location. Apart from his business, Nick’s other interests include tennis, motorsport, cinema and reading.
Neal Garrard, Commercial Director
In addition to previously working for the B.A.R Honda F1 Team, Neal also enjoyed a stint as Commercial Manager at Aston Martin Racing, where he was involved in the commercial activities of the successful ‘works’ team and sales of the DBR9 and DBRS9 GT racing cars. At Nicholas Mee & Co, Neal is responsible for the sales and purchase of the ‘New Era’ Aston Martin models as well as our Nicholas Mee Racing and CTR Events projects. Passionate about all sports, Neal particularly enjoys motorsport, golf and snowboarding.
Graham Hudson, Showroom Manager
Although working for many years for British Airways, Graham has been associated with Aston Martin since the 1970s when working for Aston Martin's sales subsiduary. Always willing to assist customers in our showroom, his exceptional understanding and knowledge of the marque is freely available to visitors. Graham’s hobbies include collecting oriental art and fine polishing.
David Swadling, Workshop Manager, Chief Technician - Heritage
David has over 30 years experience working solely on Aston Martin cars. With a depth of knowledge that spans the DB4 through to the cars of the 90's. David is currently being kept busy co-ordinating a number of important restoration projects in addition to managing Nicholas Mee & Co's Classic car servicing operations. David’s interests include motorsport, fine wines and music.
Andrew Weller, Chief Technician - New Era
Having served his apprenticeship with Rover, where he became the youngest Rover master technician in the world, Andrew has gained extensive experience working on various prestigious marques. Andrew joins us from a leading Aston Martin main agents where he spent four years, during which time he attended an intensive programme of factory courses leading to membership of the Aston Martin technicians guild and membership of the Aston Martin Automotive Technician Accreditation programme at diagnostic technician level. Andrew leads our New Era servicing operations as well as being an important member of our Nicholas Mee Racing team. Hobbies include time trialling, mountain biking, fly fishing, and piano playing.
Roy Willis, Senior Technician
With much experience on both Aston Martin and Jaguar models, Roy specialises in all aspects of mechanical work with particular emphasis on restoration and problem solving. Roy has also been a key member of our Nicholas Mee Racing team. Away from the workshop his interests include football, water skiing, boats and Aston Martin V8's.
Craig Reed, Senior Technician
Craig has worked on Aston Martin cars throughout his apprenticeship which he completed in 2002. Specialising in models from the DB4 to the DB7 Vantage he has also provided invaluable support to our DB4 and GT4 racing activities. Craig enjoys kick boxing, motorcycling and the martial arts.
Gary Walker, Parts Manager, Service Co-Ordinator
With 30 years experience in the motor trade with a variety of manufacturer dealer franchises and most recently with a independent prestige car specialist, Gary has considerable experience in all aspects of aftercar operations. At Nicholas Mee & Co, Gary is responsible for scheduling and co-ordinating all service bookings and managing our growing parts supply activities. Outside of work, Gary enjoys reading, cinema and DIY.
Brackenbury Garage Showroom
A purpose-built commercial garage in the Brackenbury Village area of Hammersmith, West London, the showroom and workshops were built in 1937 and extensively refurbished
in 2000. Brackenbury Garage is easily accessible from Heathrow (15 mins) and London's West End (10 mins). Light, airy and secure, there is room to house over 20 cars in a combination of showroom and workshop space.
